Student learning is focused in two main areas: Personal, Social and Community Health, and Movement and Physical Activity.<br><br>Learning topics covered in Year 7 include, but are not limited to the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Group Dynamics<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Respect and Empathy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sport Education- Invasion Sport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Introduction to Food and Nutrition<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Rhythmic and Expressive Movement<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Staying Safe- Drugs and Alcohol<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Relationships and Sexual Health<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Striking and Fielding Sports<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assessment<\/strong><br><br>Year 7 Students are assessed according to the HPE Achievement Standards outlined in the Australian Curriculum, with A-E Grades used for reporting. Assessment is based on a variety of tasks completed in class time and for homework.
