They develop content knowledge and understanding through participating in integrated activities such as labs. They use this knowledge to reflect on their own and other&#8217;s performances.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Physical Activity Investigation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li> Students participate in a physical activity to investigate how personal, social and cultural factors affect or are influenced by participation. Students collect data from the activity undertaken and analyse this.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Assessment<\/strong><br><br>Students\u2019 performance will be determined according to the subject\u2019s Performance Standards, as outlined by the SACE Board. Grades A to E will be used for reporting purposes.<br><br><strong>Practical skills are not assessed.<br><\/strong><br>Students will provide evidence of their learning through the following assessment types:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Performance Improvement Task<\/li><li>Physical Activity Investigation.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Leads To<\/strong><br><br><a href=\"https:\/\/curric.theheights.sa.edu.au\/?page_id=411\">Stage 2 Physical Education<\/a><br><a href=\"https:\/\/curric.theheights.sa.edu.au\/?page_id=433\">Stage 2 Integrated Learning &#8211; Physical Education Focus<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Length: Single Semester or Full Year (10 credits each semester)Contact:&nbsp;Health &amp; Physical Education Leader Recommended BackgroundGrade C or higher in Year 10 Health and Physical Education or Physical Education.
