A problem based approach is integral to the development of mathematical models and the associated key concepts in the topics. Topics cover a diverse range of applications of mathematics, including personal financial management, the statistical investigation process, modelling using linear and non-linear functions, and discrete modelling using networks and matrices.<br><br>Stage 2 General Mathematics topics include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Modelling with Linear Relationships<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Modelling with Matrices<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Statistical Models<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Financial Models<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Discrete Models.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Assessment<\/strong><br><br>Students\u2019 performance will be determined according to the subject\u2019s Performance Standards, as outlined by the SACE Board.
