It includes the study of functions and calculus. The subject can support study in a range of tertiary courses such as mathematical sciences, engineering,<br>computer science, and physical sciences.<br><br>Stage 2 Specialist Mathematics topics include:<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2022 Mathematical induction<br>\u2022 Complex numbers<br>\u2022 Functions and Sketching Graphs<br>\u2022 Vectors in three dimensions<br>\u2022 Integration Techniques and Applications<br>\u2022 Rates of Change and Differential Equations.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Assessment<\/strong><br><br>Students\u2019 performance will be determined according to the subject\u2019s Performance Standards, as outlined by the SACE Board.
